“Hadimrška” – Tatra 57 was the most successful passenger car of Tatra. Interestingly, the son of the legendary Hans Ledwinka and the young designer Erich Übelacker were behind the great design. Most of the production went to the civilian sector. Small convertibles were also complemented by a successful station wagon body – today we would rather call it a van. The vehicle allowed for the transport of four people, and after folding or removing the seats, the transport of cargo. Although these vehicles were destined for civilian hands, the situation during World War II meant that many of them ended up in the hands of the Wehrmacht and, at the end of the war, in the hands of the insurgents against the occupation.

The 1/72 scale model was created using 3D design. It is a high-quality kit containing two gray frames – the smaller universal, the second larger one specific for the station wagon, plus a small frame made of transparent material containing glass and headlights. The kit is completed with a set of cast detailed wheels with a full pattern. In addition, there are also etchings with alternative small parts and a large etching containing the typical roof rack of the car. Two camouflages then depict a green vehicle that was captured on film from May 1945 during the Prague Uprising, taking a wounded insurgent from the Old Town Hall, and a second vehicle that was requisitioned in Moravia by the Wehrmacht.

The kit can also be purchased with new masks for spraying both windows and wheels.
