During the fighting in North Africa, both sides of the conflict used high variety of captured vehicles, including Marmon Herrington – South African armored vehicles. These vehicles were more than adequate for desert areas. In addition to high speed and fairly strong armament, these vehicles were also known for their resilience and reliability. These properties were used not only by Allied units but also by the enemy – the Germans or the Italians. The new Attack kit brings selection of such vehicles. The most unusual version of the camouflage selected is that of an unknown Italian unit in Libya from the period of 1941/1942. The vehicle has been marked on one side by Italian designation including a metallic flag on the fender, and on the other side by the similar German designation.
But we did not just modified the decals-the model, of course, comes with new features as well. First on plastic parts – for the first time we bring a model of the so-called Mediterranean variant (variant Mk.II ME). This variant was distinguished by the modification of the turret – the front part was modified and the vehicles were armed with the Bren machine gun and the Boys anti-tank rifle. The kit will also bring specific etched metal parts plus a larger set of cast accessories to allow the front engine door to be opened and a casted resin cooler and front lights to be placed behind them.
