Company “Phänomen” supplied the German army with several series of passenger cars, collectively referred to as the “Kübelwagen”. Many of them were used to transport officers or teams, but due to the lack of heavier vehicles, these vehicles were also used at the beginning of WWII in infantry divisions to tow light anti-tank guns PaK 36. Their use in this role is documented before the war during the occupation of Austria and Czechoslovakia, then served during the following campaigns in Poland, France, Balkan and finally in Russia. The production of these vehicles did not continue during the war, unlike ambulances and various “vans”. Therefore the vehicles were gradually destroyed during the campaign on the Eastern Front.
The kit contains plastic parts for assembling the Granite vehicle and the Pak 36 cannon. The details are made as etchings. The resin casting then allows you to build a model with a closed roof.
