72917 Marmon Herrington Mk.II MFF double pack – 1x full interior including engine

One of our February news is a kit of South African armored vehicle 72917 Marmon Herrington Mk.II MFF double pack – 1x full interior including engine. The armored car is better known under the name of an American axle supplier as Marmon Herrington. The model builds on our successful range of models of the Mk.II version of this vehicle. The kit contains two sets of plastic parts allowing to build two models of the MFF version, one of which can be equipped with a full resin interior including a full engine compartment.

Vehicles of the version MFF were deployed during war campaign in East Africa against the local Italian forces. This campaign was also the first war deployment of South African forces. Enhancing used older cars version Mk.I. Thanks to the configuration of the 4×4 drive, they had significantly better throughput on more complex terrain. Subsequently, the South African troops reached the North African battlefield. Here served in addition to a newer version of ME, which had heavier armament in the form of anti-tank rifles Boys and machine gun Bren. Cars were used by other Allied troops on this battlefield as well.
