Another edition of our resin sets is a set of barrels and canisters in scale 1/72. You can find a total of 16 barrels in three different designs plus four barrels open from above. The set also contains 10 detailed canisters.
The motorization of armies during World War II brought with it the need to transport and store large quantities of fuel and oils. It didn’t matter if it was a tank, an armored car, a truck or a motorcycle. All these vehicles consumed an incredible amount of gasoline.
Many battles were also affected by lack of fuel or efforts to gain enemy supplies. Therefore, we can not be surprised that in addition to the tanks, we find in many archival photographs of the Second World War barrels and canisters, which the combat and rear units carried with them.
Most of the modellers will probably agree with us that amount of barrels and canisters is never enough bug. And so we resumed production of this interesting set. It contains several different designs of standard barrels from the period of the Second World War, as well as canisters used not only by the Wehrmacht.
This set suitably complements the long-awaited RE 72321 German Fuel Set 1/72, which for a change includes hand pumps, a street gas station stand and many different other cans, buckets and other containers used in fuel and oil handling and their filling into vehicles.
